Council of Industry Board Meeting - June 2023

*Board of Directors Meeting - Invite Only*

The board meeting on June 22nd will feature a presentation by Dr. Peter Jordan, President of Dutchess Community College (DCC). The presentation will focus on program updates and their collaborative efforts to support manufacturing in the region. 

There will be an optional building tour, mechatronics lab update and VR goggle demonstration facilitated by Dutchess County Workforce Investment Board prior to the meeting. 

The schedule is as follows:
- 4:30 to 5:30: Optional tour and optional VR demo
- 5:30 to 6:00: Networking
- 6:00 to 6:15: Welcome and introductions
- 6:15 to 7:00: Program presentation by Dr. Peter Jordan and Dr. Jason Schetelick
- 7:00 to 7:45: Board meeting

The meeting aims to provide valuable insights into the collaborative efforts between the Community College and BOCES to develop resources and initiatives to support manufacturing workforce development in the region.
