Throughout this webinar, we will hear from Linda Gonzalez, Supported Employment Coordinator at ADAPT of the Hudson Valley, and Florence Splitt, a job coach at ADAPT of the Hudson Valley. They will guide us through an introduction to ADAPT of the Hudson Valley, its mission, and their roles in supporting people with disabilities in Orange, Rockland and Sullivan Counties .
Participants will have the opportunity to witness firsthand the impactful work carried out by ADAPT, and gain insights into five of their supported employees, including where they work and their respective job titles. Learn how ADAPT supports employers who want to hire their clients with training and coaching. One of the featured companies will be fellow Council of Industry member President Container Group who employs ADAPT clients in a variety of roles.

Linda Gonzalez is the Supported Employment Coordinator at ADAPT of the Hudson Valley where she oversees the department that provides assistance for people supported in various ways so that they may sustain meaningful employment. Linda has extensive experience in both prevocational and vocational education and services, as well as implementing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations.
Florence Splitt has been a job coach with Adapt of the Hudson Valley for 3 years. Florence is driven by the fulfillment of assisting people in both reaching their goals of gaining meaningful employment, but also in assisting people in becoming independent at work and discover their careers.
