Manufacturing Pre-Apprenticeship Courses  Presented by Dutchess Community College
 

Individuals will acquire practical skills with real-world applications as our expert instructor guides them through essential measuring techniques, safety protocols, and modern manufacturing operations. This course covers quality concepts, tools, safety considerations, and terminology relevant to the manufacturing industry. Participants will explore topics such as basic math, measurement science (Metrology), and basic blueprint reading.

Upon successful completion of the program and passing the exam, attendees earn a Mitutoyo micro-certification aligned with industry standards. Pre-apprentices who complete the full program will also receive a $500 stipend.

This is an opportunity for individuals to gain insights into career opportunities in manufacturing, along with the communication and leadership skills that employers seek.


Course Fee: $1,000 Full scholarships available.
 LOCATION: Center of Excellence for Industry and Innovation at DCC@FISHKILL
SCHEDULE: October 21 - December 9 Mondays and Wednesdays 10 a.m. - 3:00 p.m
