Aaron Hopmayer

Aaron Hopmayer has been in the field of education for the past twenty-seven years. Over that time, he has worked as a Social Studies teacher, Assistant Principal, and he has been the Principal of the Pine Bush High School for eighteen years. Aaron attended SUNY New Paltz where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education/Social Studies, a master’s degree in special education, and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Administration. In addition, he completed and Educational Policy Fellowship through Columbia University Teachers College and attended the New York State Future Superintendents Academy. Aaron is also a veteran of the United States Army. Aaron is happily married to his wife Melissa, and they have two wonderful kids, Nick, and Jenna. Currently, Nick is on active duty in the United States Army.
