About the Council

The Council of Industry is the manufacturers' association of the Hudson Valley. Our mission is to promote the success of our member firms and their employees, and through them contribute to the success of the Hudson Valley Community. Since 1910, the Council of Industry has been the voice of the Hudson Valley's manufacturing community, bringing manufacturers together and providing resources, connections and the support needed to grow, adapt and remain competitive. Building on that mission, the Council has earned designation as the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) Center for the Mid-Hudson region, expanding its capabilities to help manufacturers strengthen their workforce and leadership, improve operations, adopt new technologies and access expertise and resources.
