Manufacturing/Advanced Manufacturing Industry Roundtable
Join us for an exciting and informative roundtable that brings together manufacturing professionals, workforce leaders, and industry experts. This is your chance to connect, learn, and share insights on the future of manufacturing in our region.
Start the afternoon with a light lunch and networking opportunity before diving into key discussions led by our featured speakers:
- Barbara Ann Livermore Reer, Assistant Dean for Workforce, will welcome attendees and guide introductions, setting the stage for an engaging discussion.
- Dan Paris, from the Department of Labor’s Office of Apprenticeship Training, will present on the Registered Apprenticeship Program—outlining its valuable benefits for both employers and apprentices. You'll also hear about the SUNY Ulster Pre-apprenticeship Program, which helps prepare individuals for successful careers in manufacturing.
The roundtable will wrap up with an open forum, where you'll have the chance to participate in meaningful dialogue, ask questions, and explore ways to collaborate on advancing workforce development in the manufacturing sector.
